a somewhat disappointing experience

beautiful groundstired roomfreeview channels
the grounds were beautiful and i enjoyed walking around them.
the room i booked (a superior double or twin room) felt rather tired (the carpet really needs replacing). also, the tv only had freeview channels, which i found quite poor for the price i paid.

the location was okay.
i booked a superior room, but it felt a bit tired. the bathroom was basic and the bath gel was empty. breakfast was also a strange experience, it had chips, tomato sauce, and cheap cereals, but lacked fruit, cheese, pastries or bread.

the architecture and interiors were beautiful I was impressed by the attention to detail. the grounds had glorious trees it was a pleasant surprise. the food was delicious and the dining areas were super I enjoyed every meal.
room service was slow because a wedding was ongoing I understand this. the bread was stale I didn't expect that. the pastries also lacked quality it was a letdown.

The building and grounds are excellent. Rabbits and deer were visible. The staff was helpful. Our room was nice and neat. The pool was great, and the food hit the spot.
The minibar in the room was not restocked daily. That was slightly annoying. I would have expected a bit more attention to that detail.
